Obverse
On the obverse of the 2026 American Silver Eagle is the iconic Walking Liberty design, originally created by Adolph A. Weinman. Lady Liberty is depicted in a graceful stride toward the rising sun, draped in the American flag and carrying branches of oak and laurel, symbolizing strength and peace.
The obverse also includes the inscriptions “LIBERTY,” “IN GOD WE TRUST,” and the year of issue “2026,” reflecting the coin’s heritage and enduring symbolism.
Reverse
The reverse features a detailed image of a bald eagle descending with an oak branch in its talons, introduced as part of the updated design in 2021. The eagle, a powerful symbol of the United States, represents strength, vigilance, and freedom.
The reverse also includes the inscriptions “UNITED STATES OF AMERICA,” “E PLURIBUS UNUM,” “ONE DOLLAR,” and “1 OZ. FINE SILVER,” confirming its weight, denomination, and silver purity.
